Tim Dwight | All-American at the University of Iowa and a star in the National Football League

- Led his high school, Iowa City High, to the Class 4A state title as senior after rushing for a state-record 43 touchdowns
- Led the nation with a 19.3-yard punt return average in 1997 for Iowa
- Iowa's all-time leader with 2,271 receiving yards and ranks third all-time with 32 touchdowns and 139 catches
- Drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the 1998 NFL Draft
- Ranks fourth all-time in Super Bowl kick return yardage for a single game (210), and his 42.0 yards per return in the game is a Super Bowl career record.
- Tim, through his foundation, hosts football camps in Iowa City to help support the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Children's Hospital of Iowa and the Tim Dwight Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for high school students throughout Iowa
- Gatorade Iowa Track Athlete of the Year in 1992-93
Charlie Wittmack | Des Moines trial-lawyer/adventurer known best for climbing to the top of Mount Everest after spending days without food or water

- Won the notorious ultra-marathon ocean race, the 32nd Annual Swim Around Key West
- Attempted one of the most difficult and dangerous swims on the planet – the English Channel. After surviving seven hours of swimming in frigid 63-degree water and covering a distance of more than 15 miles, Wittmack was pulled from the sea, hypothermic, unconscious, and close to death.
- Stories of his swim crossed the globe; from the International Herald Tribune, to CNN, the Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, the San Francisco Chronicle, Sports Illustrated, Outside Online, and beyond.

- Starred for three years on the Iowa Hawkeyes football team.

From Interstate 35 from the North
Follow I-235 West into downtown Des Moines. Take the 3rd Street (downtown Des Moines) exit. Turn south on 3rd Street and continue past the Iowa Events Center Complex. Continue into downtown on 3rd Street and take a right on Grand Avenue.
From Interstate 35 from the South
Merge onto I-235 East exit and travel east towards downtown Des Moines. Take the downtown exit and proceed to 3rd Street. Turn south on 3rd Street and continue past the Iowa Events Center Complex. Continue into downtown on 3rd Street and take a right on Grand Avenue.
From Interstate 80 from the East
Headed west on I-80, take the I-235 West exit and continue towards downtown Des Moines. Take the 3rd Street exit (downtown Des Moines). Turn south on 3rd Street and continue past the Iowa Events Center Complex. Continue into downtown on 3rd Street and take a right on Grand Avenue.

Headed east on I-80, take the I-235 East exit and continue towards downtown Des Moines. Take the Iowa Events Center Exit (3rd Street) and turn right. Turn south on 3rd Street past the Iowa Events Center Complex. Continue into downtown on 3rd Street and take a right on Grand Avenue.
PARKING AT THE POLK COUNTY CONVENTION COMPLEX
Parking is available north of Vets Auditorium with entrances off the following streets: 3rd, 5th, and Crocker. This is just a short walk to the convention center (approximately 2 blocks down 5th street). Please note on the online registration form if you will need to park a vehicle for the day, so a parking pass can be mailed to you ahead of time.
